Once upon a time there were two brothers; one older than the other but both full of wisdom. The younger brother always looked up to his older brother and the older always trying to lead the younger. One day their Father gave each of them a special gift both special but both different and the Father told them to put their gifts somewhere special and hidden until they were both ready to share them with each other. But the older brother became jealous of his younger brother and wanted both of the gifts for himself. So while the younger was thinking of a way to give his older brother his gift the older was planning how to take the younger brothers gift. The Father saw what was in their hearts and was grieved but He had a resolution.
One day the older brother told the younger, "I have a surprise I want to show you but we must go on a walk up the mountain." So the younger agreed to go. As they walked this path together through the trees and up the mountain, they came to a vast opening where the sun shined through and there they stopped and looked. There was the most beautiful land across the water, full of colors and life flowing abundantly. The older brother said to the younger, "I know how we can get there but there is only one way. The younger opened up his eyes with excitement and looked up at his brother with wonder. The older and wiser one said, "we have to leap from this mountain and believe and there we will be. So they agreed that they would go together.
The following day the two brothers walked the path up the mountain until they came to the same place they met together the day before. But just before they took a leap off the mountain, the older one pushed the younger one off and so, the younger brother was gone, fallen far below. The older brother fell to his knees and looked up to the sky and said, "I'm sorry little brother but I told you there was only one way." He put his hand over his heart and began to cry and realized what a huge mistake he had made. He looked down and there laying beside him was his younger brothers gift. He opened it slowly and found a letter inside and this is what it said,
"Dear Brother, I waited until now to give you this very special gift from Father. It was the only way. I love you and I will see you soon."
